LG Test Modes

HOW TO USE THE SEARCH

Models that use the same test mode formats are grouped together. Type your model number until only one Test Mode Format is shown. It will be the specific Test Mode Procedure for your model.

Example: For WM8000HVA Washing Machine, only type WM8000. The last few letters represent color and aren’t needed for the search.

Note: If your model is showing no results found, make sure you are leaving the color code off the end of the Model #.

Example: DLE6100W, just type DLE6100

  1. Test mode for WT1801 indicates spin speed-water plus-power. There is no water plus button on this model. When power is on water plus is a light up symbol. Cannot get anywhere with this. Please help.

    1. Thank you for the comment. The Water plus button is a secondary feature of the fabric softener button. So to make it the least confusing we changed the buttons to Spin Speed + Fabric Softener then Power. Hope this helps!

    1. DLGX5501, DLGX6501, DLGX 6701, DLGX8601 & DLEX5500, DLEX6500, DLEX6700, DLEX8600 digital dial style dryers have been updated with what we have so far. The one we had on the website was from the service manual and was wrong. If we get any other style of test mode other than what we have we will add it or replace it in the future. Check out one of these models. You can punch in either of these models and check it or follow this weblink https://lgtestmodes.com/dryer-test-mode-format-21/
